2025-2026 Classroom Grants
Robotic Arm ($1,400): Bay Port Tech Ed Department
This grant will help fund the purchase of an MG400 Desktop Industrial Robotic Arm for Bay Port’s Tech Ed program. Used in robotics and manufacturing courses, the arm supports career readiness by giving students hands-on experience with automation, coding, and design. The project is co-funded by the Tech Ed department and an HSBPA grant.
Electrophoresis System ($1,240): Bay Port Ag Science Department
This grant will help purchase a blueGelâ„¢ Electrophoresis System from miniPCR bio, giving students hands-on experience with DNA testing and analysis. Students will explore real-world applications such as GMO detection, pathogen identification, and plant genetics, building skills in biotechnology and agricultural science. The equipment strengthens applied learning, lab safety, and career readiness in science and ag-related fields.
4K Playhouse: HSSD 4K and Bay Port Tech Ed Department
This grant will purchase lumber to be used to create a playhouse for our two full day 4K classes housed at Bay Harbor Elementary. This playhouse will be designed and built by Bay Port Tech Ed students.
