The Howard-Suamico Education Foundation invests in students and teachers to foster opportunities, drive innovation, and cultivate pride within the Howard-Suamico School District and community.
Through the generosity of our community, HSEF helps bring innovative learning experiences, classroom projects, and new opportunities to life. We work alongside educators, district leaders, families, businesses, alumni, and donors to help our schools continue to grow and thrive.
Who We Are
The Howard-Suamico Education Foundation is an independent 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting students and educators in the Howard-Suamico School District.
Founded in 1992, HSEF was created by community members who believed that a strong school district is an important part of a strong community. Today, HSEF continues that work by connecting community generosity with the ideas, needs, and opportunities that can make a difference for students and teachers.
HSEF is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors and works closely with district leadership and educators to understand where additional resources can have the greatest impact. While HSEF operates independently of the school district, our shared goal is simple: to help create the best possible educational opportunities for Howard-Suamico students.
Our History
For more than 30 years, HSEF has brought together people who believe in the future of Howard-Suamico students.
What began in 1992 as a community effort to provide additional resources to our schools has grown into an ongoing partnership between educators, families, alumni, businesses, community members, and donors.
Over the years, HSEF has helped fund classroom projects, innovative programs, student experiences, teacher initiatives, and other opportunities that extend learning beyond what traditional school funding can provide.
As the needs and opportunities within our schools continue to evolve, so does HSEF. We remain focused on listening to our educators, responding to emerging opportunities, and connecting our community with ways to make a difference.
